About Steyning AC
Steyning Athletic Club was formed in 1951 to accommodate the walkers and other Athletes who at the time actively participated in race-walking and running in the Steyning area.
The club has expanded and changed since those early days, now covering many disciplines, including Running, Race Walking, Swimming, Cycling, Triathlon, Circuits and a thriving junior section. The club has its own premises in Charlton Street, Steyning, and caters for athletes of all ages.

The club organises the famous Steyning Stinger – a half and full off-road marathon covering trails across the South Downs, taking part on the first Sunday of March every year for more than 500 competitors.
Steyning Athletic club is a member of the West Sussex Fun Run League. Each club in the league hosts one race per year. Steyning organises the Round Hill Romp – a challenging 6-mile race which regularly attracts over 400 runners.
The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Federation.
