1. ROMP….. Thank you to all of those of you who are getting involved with helping out.
This year we are aiming for a top-3 WSFRL finish. Now, Simon James has pointed out that if we do get out some faster runners to score big points this can deny some big points to chasing teams (we will only automatically score a maximum of our average score for the season though). But the key thing is denying some other chasing clubs some big points! Cunning.
With that in mind, do let me know if you want to run! Despite my last post about this, I will put in a group entry form to Cherry.
But – we need a balance (!) – so if you do run it, please don’t just rush off afterwards. Please stay and help out. There is loads of stuff to do afterwards, lots of stuff to put away etc etc.
I’ll need to do know by Saturday evening.
2. VESTS……. Gary Brind has ordered in some SAC sleeveless running vests. Mens and womens. Mixed sizes. They are very nice, very flash. Look great. £16. Represent your club with pride! Come and buy one. I will be at the clubhouse this Thursday (28th June) at 8pm with the vests if you want to try one on….. We will also soon be getting some runing shirts.
