The Queenford Relays take place on September 23rd. It’s a 4x1k lake swim near Henley, with each swimmer swimming 1k in relay format. There is then a “4-up/team pursuit” style race afterwards for a bit of fun for those interested with all swimmers doing an extra 1k all together as a bunch.
Now is the time to start to think if you would like to be part of a team to do this event. Hopefully we can get a number of teams entered for this end of season fun event.
Teams of 4 are invited to compete in the following categories in either men’s or women’s (or the mixed option):-
Open – men or women
Masters - men or women (aged 45+ on the day of the race)
Traditional – men or women (Speedo style swimsuit only)
Mixed – 2 men and 2 women (these can be open, masters or juniors)
Junior men or women (aged 14-18 on the day of the race)
Please drop me a line if you are interested, or grab me at swimming and we will get names together and form teams of 4 to submit entries.
