If you were planning on entering any of the local Vachery Tri-Festival events this coming weekend, you better hurry up as entries close at Midnight tonight (Monday August 20th).
It’s a local event just outside Cranleigh and looks like a great location with flat fast roads and a lake swim. They have on-road and off-road tri and 2 swim events. Its a Raw Energy Pursuits arranged event. See link and below for more details.

Saturday 25th August
- Midday – Race village and campsite opens.
- 4.00-6.00pm – Registration for tomorrow’s races – also open tomorrow before races
- Evening – Bar music and pre-race chill
Sunday 26th August (provisional timetable)
- 5.30-7.00am – Road triathlon registration open
- 7.00am – Individual and team relay standard distance road triathlon race start
- 7.30am – Individual sprint distance road triathlon race start
- 10.00-10.30am – Road triathlon (all distance races) prize giving
- 10.00-10.45am – Big Swims 1500 metres and 3000 metres registration open
- 10.00-12.00 midday – Xtri, off-road triathlon registration open
- 11.00am – Big Swims race wave start – exact time to be confirmed
- 12.00 midday – Individual Scott Series Xtri standard distance race start
- 12.15pm – Team relay standard distance cross triathlon race start
- 12.30pm – Individual sprint distance cross triathlon race start
- 3.00-3.30pm – Cross triathlon (all distance races) prize giving
Bank Holiday Monday 27th August
- Midday – Race Village, campsite and venue closes
