GB Paralympic Athlete Sophia Warner to Start Romp

The Hove 2012 Paralympics 100 and 200 metres athlete, Sophia Warner, who is sponsored by Chandlers BMW, will be the guest starter for the race in Steyning High Street.

Sophia will be presenting medals to all athletes and juniors at the finish.

The annual 10k Brooks Round Hill Romp for adults and the Mini Romp running races for the 7-16 year olds take place on Wednesday 6th July.

The Round Hill Romp will be starting in Steyning High Street at 7.30pm and the Mini Romp for juniors in Steyning Cricket field at 7.40pm, both races finish in the cricket field.

The main event, the Round Hill Romp is one of the most picturesque events in the UK and is part of the WSFRL series of races.

Brooks Sports, Lees sweets, Green Wright Chalton Annis, Gardner and Scardifield support the event and Chandlers BMW who will be providing the finishers medals.
