Good News! The qualification races for the ITU World Triathlon Championship Age Group races (Standard and Sprint) in 2013 have been announced. The races will take place in London based around Hyde Park, in September 2013 (exact dates to be confirmed but probably weekend of 13-15 September). This is a wonderful opportunity for lots of Steyning athletes to set themselves a goal of qualifying for the GB team. It is NOT IMPOSSIBLE, and this chance to race in London in GB kit won’t come again for a while. The qualification race information can be found here on the BTF website. Dambuster and Diva Tri are both Standard distance qualifiers and I have done both of those so if you need advice/information please ask. You need to be a BTF member in order to register to qualify.
