UK Athletics Level 4 Performance Coach – Endurance running, conditioning and Race Walking

Occasionally I help support individual or small groups of athletes achieve specific performance targets for chosen events such as the ‘big’ marathons.
The thing you love most about the sport that you are involved in :
For me it’s all about competitive performance and there’s nothing better than athletes saying that their times or performances have improved because of the conditioning work we do. I feel very lucky to be coaching sessions that help the performance of athletes across every event group in the club.

As a competitive athlete focusing on marathon and soon to take on ultra-distance running races, I understand the importance of great technique and the need for excellent conditioning. The thing you love most about the sport that you are involved in:
Whilst, cycling is my main passion, swimming is probably my best discipline and coupled with surviving the running part – I became involved with Triathlons.
The above have allowed me to enjoy entering many events dedicated to either single disciplines or combined in Triathlons, in this country and abroad.
Swim coaching allows me the opportunity to put back into the sport what I have been able to enjoy. Hopefully, this experience gained will enable me to help and encourage others to become strong, confident swimmers with excellent technique.
