The ice has finally melted, so YES we will be swimming at Southwater tomorrow. Dig out the wetsuit, and your yellow swim hat! Shall we say 17.15 tomorrow. The deal is the same as last year – £10 for a whole year!

I’ll be cycling up, leaving at 16.15. If you want to come along, let me know.

A cold and breezy morning for this event – but 12 brave athletes turned out, and all finished except Gary, who ducked the run due to a leg injury. He made up for it in the swim and bike by posting the fastest time in each of these disciplines! Moyra has obviously been practicing her dismounts, and was a blur of speed going through the dismount zone. She should perhaps give Pete a bit of coaching! Simon proved fastest overall on the day, and John Ford-Dunn wins the prize for prettiest bike. Well done everybody, and many thanks to helpers on poolside, in transition and out on the bike course. The results are below.
