The club is affiliated to the British Triathlon Association. Steyning triathletes had a successful first season in 2000, competing in events in Worthing, Southwater and Steyning as well as venues further afield. Since then members have competed in races in many corners of the world at distances ranging from Sprint Triathlon to Ironman. A number of members have competed in European and World Championship events and we even boast a few medallists. The club holds regular swim training throughout the year and also hosts a Summer Series of multisport events for members. In the summer months we do open water swimming in Southwater Lake on Monday evenings from 6:15pm. In winter we hold turbo training sessions in our Clubhouse on Monday evenings at 7pm. Each summer we arrange a date when members can experience doing an Olympic distance triathlon as part of a Club training evening.
